Computers2Africa’s mission is to promote digital inclusion, educational equity, and environmental sustainability by refurbishing donated computers and delivering them to communities across Africa. By bridging the digital divide, we help unlock opportunity through access to technology.
According to the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), only 39% of Africa’s population was digitally connected as of 2019, leaving hundreds of millions—especially in rural areas—without access to computers or the internet!
According to the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), nearly half the global population aged 10 and over—about 3 billion people—has never used the internet, with many of the unconnected living in rural and remote areas of Africa.
AI can stimulate economic growth, create new industries, generate employment, and help solve some of Africa’s most complex challenges in healthcare, agriculture, education, and public service delivery.

Born from the success of Books2Africa UK, Computers2Africa expands our mission into the digital age. With over 4.2 million books delivered to 20+ countries, we’re now applying the same trusted model to close Africa’s digital divide — one device at a time.
